October 16, 2021 was the day for ... Book It For Books ... RIF of NOVA's biannual fund- and fun-raiser! Thanks to all of our sponsors, donors, runners, walkers, and volunteers for making Book It For Books 2021 a HUGE success! Take a look at this wonderful day in these photo reviews!

John Adams Elementary School in Alexandria held a school-wide Book It For Books One-Mile Fun Run on the John Adams campus to celebrate books and reading. It was three times around the playground for over 100 children and their families to earn a medal, a T-shirt, and a book to take home forever! School principal Dr. Alicia Kincade was on hand for the fun, with help from the PTA, and organized by school librarian and NOVA RIF liaison Emily Godfrey. These photos below show the fun and joy of this October 16th "virtual" Book It day! |
