RIF OF NOVA NEWS -- RIF RAP ARCHIVES
Each RIF RAP newsletter features a cover story of interest to our reading community! For example, one RAP focused on graphic novels and whether they are "real" reading. (They ARE!) Another cover centered on books for children with learning disabilities. Still another focused on the criticality of diversity in books for children -- in characters, authors, and themes.
Other RIF RAP features include RIF of NOVA book distributions at any of the 36 schools and sites we serve. You'll always see happy faces as children pick out books of their own -- to take home and enjoy over and over! During the pandemic, the RIF of NOVA community has helped by collecting gently used books to share with children who need them more! Book collection photos and stories are included in the RAP, along with links to any new resource pages, profiles of RIF of NOVA liaisons who work in our schools, and new book picks from authors with a connection to Northern Virginia. We hope you will take a look and let us know what you think! Email: rifnova@gmail.com with your comments and suggestions.
