WHAT?
Book It For Books is RIF of NOVA's biannual fund- and fun-raiser! And it's back! The date: October 28, 2023. Book It is planned as in-person event at Bluemont Park in Arlington, Virginia -- with a hybrid option for those who prefer to participate at a distance. WHY?
Why do we host a biannual 5K/One-Mile Run/Walk? As an organization, this is how we fund the majority of book purchases for the children we serve. We have no other funding sources other than what we raise through Book It For Books -- an online fund-raising campaign on the in-between years -- and grants from generous companies, foundations, and individuals.
