RIF of NOVA Community Advisory Board member Ramunda Young is co-owner of an independent community book store in Washington, DC called Mahogany Books, which focuses on books for, by, and about African Americans and those from the African diaspora. During a recent virtual book club gathering to discuss The Promised Land, a surprise visitor dropped in...none other than the book's author, former President Barack Obama.
