RIF of NOVA is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2022! For 50 years, we have been providing books to deserving children in our community -- the City of Alexandria and Arlington, Fairfax, and Prince William counties. During that time, we have given hundreds of thousands books to children who need them the most, contributing to learning, literacy, and the love of reading and books!

Activities to celebrate our five decades are ongoing throughout the year, including a major fun- and fund-raiser on October 20: RIF of NOVA's Golden Gala: One for the Books! We need the help of corporations, foundations, and individuals in our community to help raise the funds to continue this critical work. Your contributions are our only source of income...so every dollar matters!
Our goal is to raise at least $65,000 -- our annual operating budget -- during an event with Keynote Speaker, author David Baldacci, emceed by NBC-4's Jummy Olabanji, along with a host of Guest Authors -- that will bring together our community for an evening of celebration of children's literacy.
